OUR ROOTS
Nicholas Henry is the powerhouse behind PCH Partners.
A 27 year veteran of the real estate industry, Nick is also a lifelong believer in Brooklyn. He named PCH Property Partners after his father, Paul Covert Henry.
Nick’s grandfather Alfred was a skilled Jamaican carpenter who traveled to England to help rebuild after WWII. During his time there, he met Americans who talked up exciting opportunities in New York. Alfred enjoyed England, but wasn’t a fan of the weather. Eventually, in the 1960s, he moved his wife and kids to Brooklyn.
Because black people couldn’t get mortgages at a fair rate, Alfred paid $20,000 cash for a shell of a Bed–Stuy brownstone and did the entire renovation himself. His hard work earned his family a solid start, and with that foundation, they prospered.
Alfred continued buying properties in desperate need of repair and putting in the sweat equity to restore them.
Nick’s dad, Paul, grew up to become a journeyman electrician, and a little hustle earned him a few properties of his own.
Paul hoped his son would become a lawyer, but Nick’s passion for real estate was something he couldn’t ignore. It took some convincing, but Paul eventually welcomed Nick into the family tradition of real estate investment. The rest is history, and the future is bright.
OUR FUTURE
We BELIEVE in BROOKLYN, and we want to help it THRIVE.
That’s why we share real estate opportunities with local owners – to enrich and uplift the neighborhoods we call home.
We offer free advice to help owners fill vacancies, fund renovations, pay taxes, pass inspections, and stay owners.
It all adds up to a stronger, more vibrant future for the community we love.
So whether you want to find opportunities, get advice, or just connect with a neighbor, say hi! We’ve been around long enough to know: stronger blocks are built together.
